Throughout my 20+ year career as an Information Technology professional I have achieved repeated success in directing teams through change, strengthening productivity during project implementation and executing scalable solutions. My resume details the scope of my well rounded accomplishments managing applications and systems in public cloud, private cloud and data center environments.

Currently I am the Director, Platforms for News America Marketing - News Corp, where I lead a team of cross-functional (Windows, Linux, Unix, SaaS and AWS cloud) technical engineers, with shifting priorities, who build and support enterprise class systems, deploy software updates, perform backup and recovery, as well as maintain and support a remote disaster recovery datacenter. I am recognized as a strong collaborator who successfully juggles high priority concurrent projects from planning to execution.

I have reached a point in my life where I feel my work should have some purpose beyond the corporate boardroom and the balance sheet. Your position for Information Technology Instructor sounds very rewarding, and through "giving back", it will provide that purpose. I certainly believe that I can offer my insights and real world knowledge into a vast array of technical subjects intended for a high school student. Although I am not a formally trained educator, my resume states that I did teach adults for several years in a classroom environment. And while I do not presently have the required certifications necessary to fulfill all of the requirements, I would certainly pursue and obtain what is required.
